Wearing your LeMieux Wellington boots

LeMieux’s Wellington boots are crafted from the finest quality rubber and premium materials which need your care to stay at their best.

Taking boots off

Use your hands or a boot jack to take your foot out carefully. Unless there is a heel kick design that aids boot removal (e.g. Bramshaw), using a step or the other welly will cause damage to the heel.

Cleaning and maintenance

Storing your wellies dirty, damp, in direct sunlight or drying them too quickly can cause colour changes and cracks.

After every wear, clean with water. It’s best to do this straight away as wet mud washes off more easily than dried-on dirt. Never use detergent as it damages rubber.

Air dry naturally, including the insides. Never dry next to a heat source. Crumpled newspaper helps dry the lining.

If storing your wellies for a long time, clean and dry them thoroughly and store them away from direct sunlight in a cool, dry place. We recommend the LeMieux Luggage Collection for storage.
